GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

SINCE 2008

BASIC CURRICULUM ORGANIZATION
- Since 2008, freshmen must take 3 or more English courses from their major subject. Transferred
  students must take one or more English courses from their major subject.
- Graduation thesis
  • During the 6th semester, students must submit a “graduation thesis proposal” to the dean of the Department and be assigned to a thesis advisor.
  • Students cannot submit their thesis until they pass the “preliminary presentation meeting” in the 7th semester and the “graduation thesis presentation meeting” in the 8th semester held by the Depart ment of Biomedical Engineering.
Qualifying rules for graduation
  • 2009 or later freshmen must obtain minimum 700 for regular TOEIC, minimum 76 for TOEFL (IBT), minimum 572 for TEPS, and minimum G-TELP 64 (level 2) and report their scores to the administration office of the College of Electronics and Information within the given time period.
  • IFreshmen in 2008 must obtain one of these, minimum 650 for regular TOEIC, minimum 193 for TOEFL (CBT), minimum 69 for TOEFL (IBT), minimum 551 for TEPS, and minimum G-TELP 57 (level 2), and report their score to the administration office of the College of Electronics and Information within the given time period.
- Basic curriculum organization
  • Freshmen in 2008 must take 51 credits for general courses (including 7 credits for the selected area)
  • Freshmen in 2008 must take an additional course of Introduction to programming (3 credits) in the selected area from the comprehensive general education curriculum.
