FAST TRACK PROGRAM
- Years of coursework
- 5 years (Bachelor’s degree program 3.5 years + Master’s degree program 1.5 years)
- Eligibility

- a. Students who are enrolled in the third year (5th semester) at this university (Transferred students are excluded.)
- b. Students who have completed 90 credits or more by the first semester of the third year
(96 credits for 2003 or earlier cohorts) - c. Students whose GPA up to the first semester in the third year is equal to or higher than 3.2/4.3
(GPA of the second semester in the third year and the first semester in the fourth year that falls below 3.3/4.3 will
result in disqualification.) - d. Students who have completed by the first semester in the third year at least 15 credits for the major courses in the
subject area that they expect to study in the graduate program - e. Students can apply to the graduate programs (majors) of the same majors or the same multiple-majors of their
undergraduate programs. Students can apply to multiple graduate programs. - f. Applicants need references from the academic advisor of the undergraduate program.

- Privileges and benefits

- a. Exemption from the undergraduate graduation thesis and the graduation tests
- b. If all the terms are met, admissions will be granted without further screening.
- c. Graduate honors scholarships will be granted.
- d. Accepted students will be given the priorities to the opportunities to participate in class helper and various
research projects of the graduate program.
- Completion and approval of credits

- a. Students can start taking both undergraduate and graduate credits from the second semester in the third year.
(They can take additional maximum 3 credits every semester.) - b. Students can complete 6 to 12 credits for the graduate program by their graduation of the undergraduate
program. - c. Up to 9 credits from graduate-level courses that students have completed while they are in the undergraduate
program can count for both undergraduate and graduate programs. - d. Students can take up to 12 credits in the Master’s degree program.
- a. Students can start taking both undergraduate and graduate credits from the second semester in the third year.
- Conferment of Bachelor’s degree Conditions and times

- a. Students will be granted the Bachelor’s degree and admissions to the graduate program at the end of the first
semester in the fourth year (7th semester), if they:- Meet the requirements for graduation of the undergraduate program and have GPA of 3.2 or above;
- Have completed the graduation credits for their majors, which are related to the graduate program (major) that they apply to;
- Have completed at least 6 credits from graduate-level courses; and
- Register at the graduate program during the semester.
- b. Students who give up in the middle of the undergraduate program or fail to meet the requirements listed above
by the 7th semester shall be disqualified from the fast track program and deprived of the admission to the
graduate program, and thus remain under the general terms of graduation of the undergraduate program such as
registration of at least 8 semesters and graduation thesis.
- a. Students will be granted the Bachelor’s degree and admissions to the graduate program at the end of the first
- Leave of absence of the students in the fast track program
- Leave of absence is not allowed in the first semester after admissions for any reasons except conscription and sickness.

- The regulations of the current program will be applied.

- a. One "Application for Admissions" form (in KHU form)
- b. One copy of the certificate of enrollment
- c. One official transcript
- d. One copy of the certificate of registration at the first semester in the third year
- e. One copy of study (or research) plan (in KHU form)
- f. A letter of reference from the academic advisor of the undergraduate program
- ※ None of the submitted documents will be returned.
