- Application process
- Applicants who apply to a Master’s and Ph.D. degree program can also apply to the research student program of the same Department. Plus, applicants can apply only to the research student program.
- Administration of research student programs (non-degree programs)

- a. While enrolled at a research student program, research students have the same status as that of the students of
degree programs and can use research and convenience facilities. - b. While registered for a research student program of 6 months or longer, Master’s research students can take up to
9 credits per semester and Ph.D. research students can take up to 12 credits per semester from the Department. - c. Students can be assigned to an academic advisor, if they want.
- d. Certificates of research activities or certificates of completion of coursework can be issued to Master’s research
students who have completed 9 credits or more and Ph.D. research students who have completed 12 credits or more. - e. Research students shall pay the same registration fee as the current students of Master’s and Ph.D. degree
programs pay, but research students shall be exempt from the enrollment fee. - f. Students who have completed a research student program and are admitted to a degree program at this university
can transfer up to 2/3 of the credits they achieved at the research student program.
